Thank you Jokko, the man behind manouche picks! Dimensions: 30 x 25 mmm Average Thickness: 3mm and 2mm - Material Horn - Farben von schwarz bis hellbraun. Unsere Horn Plektrum werden, von uns, aus dem Horn afrikanischer Zuchtrinder, in Deutschland handgefertigt. Um optimale Struktur, Klangeigenschaft und Maserung für die Plektren zu schaffen, werden diese von uns aus gut abgelagerten Hornplatten gewonnen. Hier wird die seltene Kunst der Hornplattengewinnung, durch thermische Einflüsse auf das rohe Horn, in Perfektion noch beherrscht. Die einst begehrten und nun aus Gründen des Artenschutzes verbotenen Plektren aus Schildpatt (Panzer von Meeresschildkröten) wurden auf dieselbe Weise hergestellt. Auch aufgrund des fast identischen Aufbaus von Horn und Schildpatt (bestehen überwiegend aus Keratin) besitzen die unsere Horn Plektren dieselbe hohe Qualität wie die legendären Plektren aus Schildpatt. Jedes 4G Horn Plektrum wird von Hand auf eine durchgängig gleiche, wählbare, Stärke mit abgerundeten Kanten geschliffen und im Anschluss hochglanz poliert. Trotz der glänzenden Oberfläche, haftet das 4G Horn Plektrum, aufgrund der organischen Zusammensetzung und der edlen Verarbeitungsweise, außerordentlich gut zwischen den Fingern. Zu beachten ist, dass Horn durch prachtvolle, individuelle Maserungen, jedes 4G Plektrum zu einem beeindruckenden Unikat prägen. Our horn picks are handcrafted in Germany from the horn of African cattle. To ensure optimal structure, tonal characteristics, and grain, we obtain them from well-seasoned horn plates. The rare art of extracting horn plates by thermally influencing the raw horn is still mastered here. The once coveted and now banned for species conservation reasons tortoiseshell picks (sea turtle shells) were made in the same way. Due to the almost identical structure of horn and tortoiseshell (they consist primarily of keratin), our horn picks possess the same high quality as the legendary tortoiseshell picks. Each 4G horn pick is hand-sanded to a consistently uniform, selectable thickness with rounded edges and then polished to a high shine. Despite the glossy surface, the 4G horn pick adheres exceptionally well between the fingers due to its organic composition and exquisite craftsmanship. Manouche Picks Sensor (made by Jokko!)
Gypsy jazz guitars tend to be hard to amplify… Not any more! We have made the best sensor to find your true acoustic sound. By adding silver to the cearmics the sound is stronger, harder and very close to the guitars own sound, and overall real acoustic experience on an amp and mixer. The mono 6.3 Rean Neutrik jack has a 30 cm/3 mm ⌀ cable and the sensor is sealed into a wooden housing. The completed microphone is 100% hand made by Jokko at the workshop in Holland. Now its "spirit of manouche" our own brand.
