Inspired from the model used by the famous Django Reinhardt, this new model built for the 100th anniversary of Django's birthday features considerable technical improvements.
It is now possible to play"magnetic" on gypsy strings without volume difference between plaincords (E B) and wound cords (G D A E)
The pick-up is specialy designed for the type of strings used on gypsy guitars. (for gypsy strings only !)
The mounting system works with a leaf spring and is easily fixed on the instrument with the volume potentiometer towards the top

Inspiriert von dem Modell (STIMER) das Django spielte, hat diese neue Modell einige bedeutende technische Verbesserungen genenüber dem Original.
Endlich ist es möglich, mit einem magnetischen Pickup und mit Gypsy Strings zu spielen, ohne dass die Saiten unterschiedlich laut sind. Umwickelte Saiten (G D A E) und blanke Saiten (E B) sind nun ausgewogen - Bravo!
Dieser Pickup ist speziell für Gypsy Strings optimiert (for gypsy strings only!)
Angebracht wird der Pickup mit einer cleveren Klammer - und: ob O-Hole oder grosses D-Loch - er passt fast immer...
The magnetic Pick-up "peche a la mouche" will not fit on all "gypsy"guitars. The height of the end of the fingerboard must at least 1/4"inch (6,5mm). Our pick-up does not fit guitars "Gitane" (Gj10) and "Aria". (fingerboard too thin). For other reasons, (location of thebrace under the soundboard) the pick-up will not fit some "D Hole"gypsy guitars (Grande Bouche). If in doubt please contact us ! info@gypsyguitar.de
